As always a classy and plummy colection... The starting point of Diogo Miranda was the men's clothing used in safaris combined with the aesthetics of the 70s. The goal was to deconstruct an openly masculine look, turning it into a very feminine and sophisticated look. We have the coats with broad shoulders, in stiff and structured fabrics, and on the other we have the well-defined waistlines and a very feminine silhouette with flowy fabrics. The draping takes us back to the dunes of the desert, while the belts, ribbons and cords - strategically placed - remind us of the tents, while the delicacy of flowers which are hand-made, imprint sophistication.
Como sempre uma colecção classy e desejável... O ponto de partida do Diogo Miranda foi o vestuário masculino utilizado nos safaris, aliado à estética dos anos 70. O objetivo foi desconstruir um look assumidamente masculino, transformando-o num look bastante feminino e sofisticado. Temos os casacos com ombros largos, tecidos rígidos e estruturados e, por outro, temos as cinturas bem marcadas e uma silhueta bastante feminina com tecidos fluídos. Os drapeados remetem-nos para as dunas do deserto, enquanto os cintos, fitas e cordões estrategicamente colocados nos fazem lembrar as tendas e a delicadeza das flores, que, feitas manualmente, imprimem sofisticação.
